We were so sorry to learn of Judy’s passing.    We remember  her visiting us here in MI in the beautiful motor home, and then again at the ‘59 OHS reunion at Joe’s barn last fall.   
Judy and I worked at Wiggs Milky Way in Osky.   She was a hard worker and fun to be around,   Precious memories.

Dennis, I am devastated to hear that Judy has left us.  She and I used to set up our ironing boards in the facing windows of our apartments in Omaha.  When you and Buzz were both gone on trips and it was summertime (no air conditioning) and the kids were in bed,  we would talk and iron until late at night.  It is a fond memory of mine and I think about her every time I pull out my iron.

I also remember our trip to Luray when we met up with you.  That was just a year before Buzz was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and I will never forget how helpful you were.  Of course, we were not aware that he was as sick as he was.  

I will miss both Judy and you!

Judy was our neighbor and was so sweet to bring us her delicious cookies when we moved in. She always had a bright smile and a twinkle in her eye.  We will miss spending time with her. 

My most recent memory of Judy is watching the sun set one evening as we sat on a bench near the breach in Clearwater.  Whenever I hear the Tampa-Clearwater promo on NPR I think of that evening back in 2011.    It was part of a great vacation with the Johnsons and my husband I and remember it fondly. 


I loved Judy; a kind and gentle person who loved her family. Dennis is my cousin on Mom's side, so Judy is my cousin-in-law! But she was more than a relative, always welcomed us into her home and life and was a cheerful host.  I am especially grateful that she helped take care of my grandparents in their final years all the while raising her own family and working at Nielsen. God Bless you Judy, we will miss you.

My dear Cuz (as you so often called me),
My many summers in Oskaloosa have such great memories because you were always there. My sweetest memory is when you came this last Fall and we baked Grandma Tarr’s cinnamon rolls together. Though I think you did most of the work. And I ate the most. God has a special place for caring people like you. I shall miss you a bunch. Your Cuz.  Gary 


Judy and I go back to 2nd grade at Jefferson Grade school and then into High School. We have basically known each other practically all of our lives. Two of my classmate friends and I each at a crush on Judy.  But she had nothing to do with us, just as friends.  A very good friend our entire life.  A great school ,church and neighbor friend for life. My condolences to Dennis and entire family. 

Our Long Center 6AM gym group always enjoyed Judy's company...not at the gym...
..but when Denny brought Judy to our holiday breakfasts at Sunset Grill.  We enjoyed memories of and future plans for adventurous trips.   God bless her on this next journey.
