known by all as
“Bud”, passed
away at the age
of 70, December
31, 2018.
He was born in
Jacksonville, FL, July 5, 1948,
the son of the late John W.
Johnson and Edith Johnson.
Bud was married to his high
school sweetheart and love of
his life, Darlene, for 52 years.
They relocated to the Tampa
Bay area in 1972, residing
in East Lake for the last 40
years. Bud was renowned in
the Clearwater area for owning
and operating Century
Title, alongside Darlene, for
over 35 years. Throughout
his life, Bud loved boating, attending
FSU and Bucs games,
being an expert Pit Master,
and collecting and showing
his prized Hot Rods. His
happiest moments, however,
were those he spent with Darlene
and their five grandchildren.
Bud is survived by his
wife, Darlene; children, Melisa
(Todd), Keith (Michelle),
and Melanie (Frank); grandchildren,
Jessica, Ella, Madison,
Wesley and Emma. Bud
made a bright, vast impact on
everyone that knew him with
his friendliness, limitless generosity,
sense of humor and
quick wit. A Celebration of Life
is being scheduled for mid February.
