Jeffrey Scott Willms

Jeffrey Scott Willms, 48, passed away at his home on May 29, 2019 in Clearwater, FL. Jeff is deeply loved by his family and so many friends. He was born in Dunedin, FL on May 4, 1971 - child #4 of 5 born to Robert and Barbara Willms.

Jeff loved team activities, playing softball and golf with friends, and an active fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, among others. Jeff loved watching movies, amusement parks, and Halloween. He sampled different jobs after high school, and eventually decided to go to school to be a Physical Therapy Assistant. In 2011, he married Linda Yali Willms and looked forward to building a family with the love of his life. In 2012, he received his degree and enthusiastically began his PTA career, one that involved meaningful work that helped others, an innate quality that Jeff exhibited throughout his life to anyone in need. Jeff will be remembered for his smile and courage during difficult times, and we know he is at rest (without pain and struggle) now.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Linda, mother-in-law, Arlene Yali Fracentese, sisters-in-law Ann Marie Yali of NY and Patricia Yali of Palm Harbor, his parents, Bob and Barb Willms of Dunedin, his siblings: Ron (Sherri) Willms of Dunedin, Ginny Willms of Palm Harbor, Kathy (Paul) Wieczorek of New Port Richey, Gary (Barb) Willms of Dunedin and nieces and nephews: Alicia, Shawn, Taylor, Rebecca, Grace, Tyler, Nicole, Stephanie, Timothy, Andrew, and Natalya.

A celebration of life for Jeffrey will be held Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd., Clearwater, Florida 33759. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2281 State Rd. 580, Clearwater, Florida 33763. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 12:15 pm to 12:30 pm at Parklawn Memorial Cemetery, 2966 Belcher Rd., Dunedin, Florida 34698. A cremation will occur.
