James (Jay) E. Clarke II, of Clearwater, Florida passed away Wednesday, November 01, 2023, with his loving mother and older sisters by his side. Jay was born in Saratoga Springs, New York on December 05, 1971. Jay was a proud graduate of the class of 1989 from Countryside High School in Clearwater, FL. At the time of his death, Jay worked for Griner’s Property Services and St. Petersburg Painting.
Jay was known for his enormous heart, extreme selflessness, and was everyone’s friend and didn’t believe in anyone being a stranger. Jay had incredible talents and could fix just about anything. Jay loved flying his drones, being outdoors, and talking, he loved to talk. To know Jay was to love Jay, and his loss will forever leave a void in all who knew him.
Jay is survived by his mother (Elaine Clarke), two sisters Jolene Clarke (Edward Holohan) and Renee (Scott) Sanders. Additionally, he is survived by his nieces and nephews, Geoffrey (Dakota, Gavin and Maddox), Erica (Lamont, MacKenzie, Skyler, Laila and Evangeline), Courtney (Eric), Benjamin, Logan, and Jaclene. Jay leaves behind several aunts and uncles, many cousins and countless close friends, many whose relationships spanned decades. Jay is preceded in death by his father, James E. Clarke Sr., and older sister Jaclene Clarke.
