James C Bachman

James C Bachman, age 91, of Tarpon Springs, Florida passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023. James was born on May 28, 1932 in Easton, PA to James C. Bachman and Margaret Kohl Bachman. He is preceded in death by his wife; Margaret, whom passed in January 2023. James is survived by his children; James (Tracy) Bachman of Pennsylvania, Denise (Don) Scribner of Florida, Peggy Ann DePalma of Florida, John Trocheck of Florida and several grandchildren.

James enlisted in the US Navy during the Korean War from 1953-1957. While in the Navy he was stationed in Morocco Africa. He travelled around Africa and his son James was born there. After returning to Pennsylvania he worked for Bethlehem Steel in Pennsylvania and later moved to Florida and worked for Pinellas County Department of Corrections as a Detention Deputy until retirement.

In his free time, James like to play golf and spend time with his wife and family. He also enjoyed traveling to visit Tennessee and St. Augustine. James was very kind and generous and will be greatly missed by his family and anyone who knew him.

There will be a graveside service held for James at 10 am on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park (2860 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759). There will be a get together directly after the services that all are welcome to. It will be held at Clear Sky Club Haus (36355 E Lake Rd. South, Palm Harbor, FL 34685.
