

Jack LeRoy Dougherty Jr, 85, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away on November 27, 2023. He was born on August 10, 1938 in Jersey Shore, PA. Jack was a hardworking and dedicated individual who spent his career as a Steel Detailer. He was known for his meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic.
Outside of his professional life, Jack had a passion for biking, golfing, and fishing. He enjoyed spending his free time pursuing these hobbies, finding solace and joy in the great outdoors. Jack's active lifestyle reflected his adventurous spirit and his zest for life.
Jack will be remembered as a kind and dedicated family man. He cherished his 65-year marriage to his beloved wife, Peggy, and together they raised four children: Jack III (Skip), Julie, Jerry, and Joel. He was a devoted father and took great pride in his children's accomplishments.
In addition to his wife and children, Jack is survived by his brother, David, nephew David Jr, and niece Kari. He leaves behind thirteen grandchildren: Genessa, Gelaina, Gary, Bobby, Sarah, Michael, Kortlyn, Kennedy, Joshua, Jared, Julia, Hannah, and Hunter. Jack was also blessed with six great-grandchildren: Rowen, Carmella, AriYana, Lincoln, Eli, and Jack. His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
A celebration of life for Jack will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home, located at 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759. Following the service, there will be a celebration of life gathering from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where friends and family can come together to share memories and support one another.
