84, of Crystal River and Clearwater, passed away on July 4, 2022, at her residence at Cedar Creek at Kings Bay ALF, Crystal River, under the care of the staff at Cedar Creek and VITAS Hospice. Inez was born September 3, 1937, in Crystal River, to Morrow Brown and Louise Burgess Dumas.
Inez grew up on the family dairy farm in Crystal River, graduated from Crystal River High School and the University of Florida, and earned a Masters Degree from the University of Oregon. She taught Math in Citrus County and Pinellas County schools for 33 years.
Inez was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents; a brother, Dr. Ronald L. Dumas; and 2 sisters: Eloise Strickland and Virginia Williams. Survivors include a brother, Brown Dumas, Jr., a sister, Dinah (John) Williams, and many nieces and nephews.
