Ida Mae Conover was born April 28, 1925 in Williamsport, PA. She passed away 2 days shy of her 95th birthday in Dunedin, FL, surrounded by loving family. Devoted mother of Kim (Lisa) Conover, Gayle (Jim) Morris, and David Conover, she relished weekly "happy hours" with family and remained vital and independent until her final days. Her kind heart and sweet spirit will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Mindy (Dane) Arnholt, Aimee (Chelsey) Ferguson, and Billy Conover, as well as her great-grandson, Everett. Ida lived in Ambridge, PA for nearly 20 years, where her children grew up and she had many friends. She moved to Dunedin, FL in 1978 to enjoy warmer weather. Of her 8 siblings, she is survived by two brothers, Charlie (Bonnie) and Donnie Harstead, both still in Williamsport.
A viewing will take place from 12 to 1 on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Sylvan Abbey. While friends are completely welcomed, due to Covid-19 CDC restrictions, it is understood that on-site visitation can only accommodate 10 individuals at a time; thus, regrets are likely. As such, fond memories and expressions of sympathy will be greatly appreciated and can be shared at www.sylvanabbey.com for the Conover and Morris families. As a 2-time breast cancer survivor, any memorials can be directed to Moffitt Cancer Center to promote further prevention and an ultimate cure. Future Celebrations of her Life will be every day that we breathe and love and care and share...and ultimately hug again.
