Frederick Patrick Barry

BARRY, Frederick Patrick, 65, of Oldsmar, FL passed away Friday June 26, 2015. He was born Sept 5, 1949 in St. Jerome, Quebec, Canada to John S. and Kathleen (Casey) Barry. Frederick was United States Navy Veteran. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Business from the University of Oakland and earned his Masters Degree from the University of Arkansas. Frederick became a naturalized U.S. Citizen in 1994. Frederick owned numerous successful businesses throughout his life. He loved an adventure, but most of all skydiving, scuba diving, and golfing. His favorite places were the Laurentian Mountains of Canada and most of all, Eleuthera, Bahamas, where he and Katherine had just returned. Frederick is survived by his wife, Katherine (Fordyce) Barry; daughter, Eileen (Jacob) Reis of Dunedin; son, Patrick Barry of Oklahoma; brother, Jack Barry of Michigan; and sister, Joann Barry, also of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Kylie Madison, and first wife, Janet (Leffel) Barry. A Celebration of Fredericks Life will be held Tuesday June 30th from 3-5 p.m. at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home 2853 Sunset Point Rd Clearwater, Florida 33759.
