Eleanor Gower

Eleanor Gower, age 93, of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023. Eleanor was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her parents were John and Emily Damm. She had a sister, Elsie and her brother, Bob. Eleanor married Fran Gower in 1949 and in 1952, had their son, Bob, and in 1955, their son, Ron was born. Both of her sons survive her, along with Bob's wife Joanie and Ron's wife Patty, Eleanor's grandson, Jesse and his fiance, Kelsey, and her great grandson Rory.

Eleanor loved family gatherings and get togethers with friends. She loved music and really enjoyed playing the piano. She liked to read, and Christmas was her favorite holiday. Eleanor was an excellent cook and homemaker.

Most of all, Eleanor was a wonderful, caring, and loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mom, grandmom, and great grandmom.

A gathering for Eleanor will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759. A funeral service will occur starting at 1:30 PM with a committal service to follow.
