Eileen Hicklin Belcher Longtime Pinellas County resident, Eileen Hicklin Belcher, 98, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016. Eileen was born at Hicklin Hearthstone, Lexington, MO on January 3, 1918. She graduated from Kansas City Conservatory of Music and St. Petersburg Junior College. She married Charles Elias Belcher in 1940 moving to Clearwater, FL where they raised their family. She was a member of Clearwater First Methodist Church serving as soloist and choir member for many years. She was a homemaker active in United Methodist Women and the League of Women Voters. She and her husband Charles enjoyed traveling, usually with family from Charles’ siblings to their own children. They travelled to Alaska, the western states, Europe, New Zealand, and China. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by one daughter and two sons and their spouses – Charleen and Jon Olliff, John and Catherine Belcher, Scott and Jan Belcher; four grandchildren and eight great-grand children; and her sister Marilyn.
