Edwin B. Salmon, Jr. Entrepreneur, Sharp Dresser and Eternal Optimist Beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend, Edwin (Ed) Salmon, passed peacefully at his home on September 22, 2015. A Virginian and Air Force Veteran, perhaps Ed’s most striking quality was his optimism. In fact, he did not concern himself with whether the glass was half empty or half full, but instead reminded everyone that regardless, the glass could always be refilled! Described as one of a kind, Ed was the patriarch of a “love multiplies, it doesn’t divide” family whose warmth and caring extended well beyond his immediate kin. Through the years Ed was both a sage and cheerleader to many. With his beautiful baby blues, Ed could light up any room. He leaves a legacy with his tenacious, yet gentle spirit. Ed is survived by 5 children, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a brother. A 1pm - 3pm visitation and 3pm - 5pm celebration of Ed’s life will be held Saturday, October 24th on the grounds of the Florin and Roebig Law Offices located at 777 Alderman Road, Palm Harbor. Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
