Edward O'Malley

Edward O'Malley, age 88, of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021. Edward was born July 10, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY to Thomas O'Malley and Mary Roman O'Malley. Edward is survived by his loving partner of 21 years; Georgia Childers, Georgia's son; Dale Davis and her sister; Christine Buppert.

Edward and Georgia were ballroom dancers and danced for 19 years. If they didn't go out dancing, they would dance in their living room. They enjoyed dinner with friends, shopping the mall together and spending time together making wonderful memories.

Edward also loved to sing. He would stop to strangers on the street and sing, he would sing to his friends and family, even making up songs for people as he went. He especially loved singing "Georgia On My Mind" of course, to Georgia. He loved her dearly, so much that he would talk about her everywhere he went and when she walked into the room, there was always someone to say "you must be Georgia."

Edward was such a fun loving person. Even his neighbors will miss his routine "hug and kiss" when greeting them.

Per Edwards wishes, there will be no services held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Suncoast Hospice.
