Donna was born February 13, 1964 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Don and Rita Light. She moved with her parents to Dunedin at the age of 4. She was preceded in death by her dad Don and her husband Karl.
Donna is survived by her mother Rita, her daughter Melanie, her son Ryan, his wife Danielle, and her two precious grandsons Luke and Jace, who called her Grammy. She is also survived by her brother Jim and his wife Carey, her nephew Cody and his wife Addi, and her niece Kaley and her husband Andrew. Donna is also survived by many aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. We must not forget her fur babies Bella, Blaze, and Hunter, who were her constant companions.
When Donna learned her daughter was deaf, she went to college to become a Sign Language Interpreter, so she could communicate with her daughter Melanie. She was also a former licensed massage therapist, aesthetician, and medical assistant. At the time of her death, she worked for the City of Clearwater.
Donna loved God above all, and her family and friends. She was always willing to put her own needs aside to help others. She was a good listener and would always take the time when someone needed to talk. She loved her fur babies, and they loved her back.
We will miss her "Smilin Eyes". Rest in Peace Donna. You are so loved!
