Dale Lee Miller

70, died unexpectedly September 14, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Judy Sparling Miller; daughter Renee Miller Cofone; son Brent Miller; granddaughter Kaitlyn Cofone and two brothers, Gary Miller of Port Huron, Mi and Jack Miller of St. Petersburg, FL and many nieces and nephews. Dale was born and raised in Port Huron, Michigan. He graduated from Port Huron High School in 1963 and served in the US Air Force from 1966-1970. After his marriage to Judy in 1970, Dale moved to South Bend, IN where he was an air traffic controller. In 1981, he moved his family to Palm Harbor, FL and became the owner-operator of Dale’s Lawn Service for 22 years until he sold the business. Most recently he was employed by Home Depot part-time. Dale was an avid fisherman and loved anything to do with the beautiful Florida beaches Other interests included shelling, camping, playing any kind of game, golfing and cheering at his children's and granddaughter’s ball games. He loved a good story and had a contagious laugh. There will be a celebration of life on September 19, 2015 at 2:30 in the afternoon at Sylvan Abbey, Clearwater, FL
