Schenkel, Christopher Walter, 54, Largo Fl. Passed away on May 22, 2020. Christopher was born in Patchogue NY, in 1965. He moved to Vermont in 1988, and eventually to Massachusetts in 1989. He worked for Schall associates, then worked as a subcontractor doing flooring for over 20 years. He received his associates degree in Criminal Justice in 2010. He was a Jet’s fan, loved football, Criminal Minds, Oar Island and Forged in Fire. He loved his family, animals and making jokes.
He was pre-deceased by his mother Carol, and father Walter Schenkel.
He is survived by his wife, Donna L. Schenkel; four children, Stephen G. Schenkel, Jessica N. Schenkel-Davis, Cory Paya, and Kiera Tanner; two brothers Steve Schenkel and Mario Ranieri Jr. He also leaves behind his niece Stephanie Schenkel; nephew Joey Schenkel; sister- in-law, Pam Schenkel and grandchildren, Jayden, Kayle, Chloie, Layla, Alexia Schenkel, Tanner Douglass and Hunter Schenkel.
Memorial service will be held at Bay Pines VA national cemetery at a future date, yet to be scheduled.
Memorial contributions may be directed in Christopher’s name to the SPCA or the American Cancer Society.
