Bruce often reminisced about his snowy youth spent in Northern Canada with his brothers Trent and Carter, along with his extended Morfopolus family.
His explorer’s heart took him to the seas and across the globe landing him proudly on every continent. His travels brought him to England where he met and wed his wife, Christine on December 4, 1976 in East Grinstead, Sussex. They had their first three children while living in England; Kurt, Jason, Sabrina. During these years Bruce worked as a ‘mud’ engineer on the oil rigs in the North Sea, Holland, Libya, Abu Dubai, and other countries while based in England. He would return to his growing family in England every three weeks. In 1983 he was transferred to Toronto, Canada and moved the whole family there.
Living in Toronto for 10 years, Bruce connected with his extended family and siblings Joan, Jeff, Scott and Sherry. Changing careers, he started his own business importing and selling. His forth child, Matthew, was born in 1985.
In 1993 the family moved to Florida where they reside today. Bruce became a consultant for a group that advised automobile dealerships all over the country and did that for nearly 15 years before retirement. In Florida his son Kurt and wife Cheryl added Drake and Breanna as grandchildren.
Bruce’s spirituality was very important to him and he enjoyed his religious studies, spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening and he was an excellent billiards and card player.
