HAYES, Brian Hunter, 48, of Dunedin, passed away December 3, 2018. Brian was born June, 29, 1970 in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada to Danial and Barbara (Hunter) Hayes. He attended St Paul School in Clearwater and was a 1988 graduate of Countryside High School. Brian also graduated from St Petersburg Junior College with an A.A. degree and from University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
Brian was employed by Homeland Intelligence Technologies International managing overseas services in Pakistan and Iraq. In his free time, he loved fishing at Clearwater Beach, as well as playing his guitar. He was proud to be a United States Citizen, but regretted giving up hockey in Canada. He moved to Florida at the age of 7, he became a loyal lightning fan. He lived in Alaska, New Mexico and in western United States.
Brian is survived by his parents; Danial and Barbara Hayes, sisters; Julie Hayes (Jim) Carazola and Christine (James) Nelson, nieces; Madelyn Nelson, Katie Nelson, and Sierra Carazola, Nephews; James Carazola, and Colton Nelson. Brian enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Brian will be missed by his family, friends, and co-workers. At Brian’s request his ashes will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico at a later date. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 12PM followed by a Celebration of Life until 2:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, Clearwater, Florida.
