CLEARWATER
Bradly “Brad” or “The Brad” Scott French, 49, of Clearwater, passed away at his home on June 6, 2021, but his light lives on in the hearts and memories of his loved ones and friends.
Brad filled every moment with fun. He never missed live music, any genre really. He was a zealous fan of Clemson and Buccaneer football, Lightning hockey and Manchester United soccer. He had an affinity for fast cars--especially if he was behind the wheel--and slow desserts, a connoisseur of Corvettes and Krispy Treats. His favorite spot to stroll was EPCOT’s World Showcase.
And while he was a generous friend and employer to so many, he loved being a son, husband and dad most.
Brad was born in Park Ridge, Illinois on October 21, 1971. After graduating from Clemson, he made a career as an owner in the family business, sharing his passion for cars by overseeing Auto XTC and Whisper Wash.
In Tampa, he and his wife found their church home at Grace Lutheran.
Brad is survived by his wife, Lindsey Marriott French, the love of his life, his son, Callum Nathaniel, his parents, Larry and JoAnn French, and many loved nephews, cousins and extended family.
A celebration of Brad’s life will be held on Friday, June 11 at Sylvan Abbey.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Brad’s memory by sending a donation in his name to:
