Ann Louise Barrett, 86 of Clearwater Florida went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2021 under the care of Hospice. She is now resting in Heaven joining her cherished husband Leonard R. Barrett Jr. and loving daughter Catherine Lyn, her father Richard L. Whiting Sr. and her mother Hila E. Whiting.

Left to preserve her memory is her daughter Linda Tait, brothers Richard Whiting Jr., and Alan Whiting, grandsons Brent Broaddus and Kevin Tait, grand daughters, Christina Sibson, Heather Morton and Shannon Broaddus. She will be greatly missed by all, especially her great grandchildren, Jazmyaka, Madison, Lionel Lee, Emmalee, Hayley, Lukas, Addison and Adleigh who will grow up hearing us tell them stories of her life and love for her family.

Ann was born in Montour Falls New York and moved to Florida when she was in the eighth grade. She met the love of her life, Leonard at Clearwater High School where she was a member of the band. Ann and Leonard were married in Landstuhl Germany Air Force Base where their daughter Catherine Lyn was born. Leonard was employed at Honeywell for 35 years and Ann pursued a career in nursing employed at Morton Plant Hospital. Leonard and Ann spent numerous years camping and upon retirement they traveled in their motorhome all over the country.

Ann was a loving wife, caring mother , grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and her life will be forever celebrated and remembered.
