Growing up in the 1930s, Angelina's childhood in Brooklyn was a tapestry of resilience and treasured moments. She held dear the friendships formed in her tight-knit community and the joyous memories of family gatherings. Her faith-filled moments singing in the church choir provided her with solace and inspiration throughout her life.
Angelina was a loving sister to Annie, Antonette, Johnny, and Andrew. Their unbreakable bond became the foundation of her compassionate and caring nature, which she extended to all who crossed her path.
Among her most profound accomplishments were her roles as a devoted mother and a nurturing homemaker. Angelina took great pride in her family and cherished the love and unity that surrounded her home. Her love knew no bounds, and she found immeasurable joy in caring for her children and creating a warm and loving environment for them to thrive.
But if there was one role that truly defined Angelina's life, it was being a grandmother. With unparalleled dedication, she embraced her 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren with love, wisdom, and unwavering support. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, and she reveled in their accomplishments and shared in their joys.
A skilled seamstress since her youth, Angelina's love for sewing, creating, and mending never waned. Her creativity and artistry found expression in her craft, and her work became a reflection of her loving spirit.
In her adulthood, Angelina became a Governess, providing care and support to others while also earning a living after the loss of her beloved husband, Paul, in 1978. Her strength and resilience were evident as she navigated life's challenges with grace and determination.
Angelina's life was enriched by her passions for reading, music, dancing, and photography. These interests brought joy to her days and served as outlets for her vibrant spirit.
In 1950, Angelina married the love of her life, Paul France, and together, they built a beautiful family. They were blessed with three children: Frank P. France (deceased) - wife MaryEllen, Paula A. France - husband Joseph Marrone (deceased), and Nicholas France - wife Gretchen.
Her love expanded to embrace her 12 grandchildren: Paul, Vanessa, Frank, Peter, Richard, Robert, Julianna, Joseph, Natalia, Angelina, Bianca, and Nicholas, as well as her 6 great-grandchildren: Alina, Taylor, Giovanni, Gianna, Grant, and Bennett.
