Alan Scott Harmer

Alan graduated from Quakertown Senior High School in 1979.

He was married to Kim Harmer on 4/21/2012.

Alan was a Lieutenant at the Pinellas County Sheriff's department; he retired after 28 years of service. Alan was a retired President of the Pasco chapter of the Enforcers Motorcycle Club. Alan had a passion for life he enjoyed not only riding motorcycles and golfing but would often say he was putting his marriage on hold to go hunting. Allen was also a wonderful storyteller. Alan found great comfort in his faith. He was a wonderful father, pop pop, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his children Richard Harmer, Melissa Tolan (husband James) that he had with his wife Jerrilyn Hubbard. Grandson Richard William Harmer Jr. His siblings Rick Harmer (wife Karrie), Mike Harmer (wife Brenda), Karen Ewing (husband Jim), Bobby Harmer (wife Kris).

Celebration of Life will be casual and be at 1:00 pm on 3/25/2023 at Slyvan Abbey in Clearwater.
