Born April 15, 1953, in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of Robert C. Dillon & Carol Hulings, Norma Jean (Bumbarger) & John Thompson.
Sharon graduated on June 30, 2002 with an Assoc. of Arts degree in Early Education from Nova Southeastern University.
She wed Richard A. Hallman on July 21, 1977, at the Justice of the Peace Office located in Coalport, PA and enjoyed 47 years of marriage.
Sharon had been employed by Cen Clear Child Services as an early education instructor for a number of years prior to moving to Florida for three years. Upon her return, she opened her own daycare, Hallman Childcare, located in Clearfield from 2009-2016. She was a huge advocate for many, many children and families in her community.
She was Christian by faith.
Sharon was a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Clearfield No. 812 and the ladies Auxiliary. She loved camping with her husband and family and especially enjoyed ATV riding. Sharon’s life revolved around her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was always a social butterfly who loved being around lots of people. She always had kind words to say about everyone she knew.
She is survived by her mom, Carol Hulings (Richard), Cochranton, PA; husband, Richard; five daughters, Barbie Gillingham (Donnie), Houtzdale, Jeannie Peoples (Rob), Curwensville, Georgi Farley (Dan), Morrisdale, Crystal Sopic (Joe), Curwensville, Brandi Wilson (Bill), Curwensville; 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert C. Dillon, Jr. (Jill), Hanover, PA, sister, Tricia Coudriet (Mike), Clearfield, and two nephews.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Norma Jean & John Thompson, Robert C. Dillon, one infant brother, Thomas E. Poole, Jr., and numerous aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received, and a Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Saturday, January 11, beginning at 1 p.m. with Pastor Anthony Caiola officiating, at Awaken 514 Church.
