Sarah K. (Sally) Carns, 78, formerly of Clearfield, died May 10, 2014, quietly at the Williamsport Home, Williamsport, PA. She was born on June 11, 1935 in Clearfield, the daughter of the late Howard and Kathryn Senser.
Sally was a precious and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a sweet spirit to all who encountered her. She was employed in the dietary department at the Clearfield Hospital for over 20 years. Her family, especially her children, were the “gems” of her life and her most prized possessions. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting, and loved her Lord and Saviour.
Sally is survived by her husband, Robert W. Carns, Jr., two daughters, Debra B. Vanemon and Janet E. Shirey and two sons, Howard H. Carns and Mark H. Carns, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren and her brother, Jack H. Senser of Clearfield.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Robert W. (Bobby) Carns III.
Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
