Roy Marvin Turner

Roy was born on December 18, 1934 in Clearfield, PA to the late Marvin and Lucille (Irwin) Turner.

He attended the Clearfield Area Schools.

Roy worked at farming with his father, later at Piper Aircraft at the Quehanna location and then for the Lezzer Lumber Company before he retired in 2000.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserves until 1963 and was a current active member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.

Roy is survived by two brothers; Howard and his wife, Carol of Curwensville and Neil and his wife, Marcella of Lancaster, PA and a number of nephews and nieces and their families who were very close to him. He also is survived by a number of cousins from the area.

Funeral Services will be held at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, Woodland on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 2:00PM with Pastor Sean Patrick Smith officiating. Interment will be at the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland, PA.

Friends and family will be received at the church from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service at 2PM.
