He was born on May 24, 1939 in Clearfield, the son of Lemuel and Hilda (Hainsey) Dixon.
Mr. Dixon was a retired coal miner.
He is survived by a son, Douglas Dixon, a daughter, Amanda Dixon Kidwell both of, Boynton Beach, FL, five grandchildren; Alexa Kidwell, Haley Kidwell, Katelyn Kidwell, Camryn Dixon and Jacob Dixon, a brother, Alvin Dixon, of Frenchville and his companion, Betty J. Cook , of Hyde.
Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers; Delmar, James, John, Charles, Raymond and Lewis, three infant brothers and one sister, Jeanette Fry.
Honoring Mr. Dixon’s wishes there will be no public viewing or visitation.
The family suggests that contributions be made to Living Bread Ministry, 628 Daisy Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
