She was born on March 1, 1936, at the family homestead, a daughter of James M. and Annie M. (Donahue) Quigley.
Pauline is best remembered for always opening her door to her family, friends, and various animals. She was very compassionate and loving to all she encountered. Any person or animal that visited could always count on a warm meal and a safe place to stay.
Pauline worked at Bud Bells Potato Farm in Grampian, PA, and as a presser at Kent Sportswear in Curwensville, PA, from which she retired.
She was Methodist by Faith.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline “Jacki” Kendrick, and her husband Rick of Clearfield, four grandchildren; Scottie Yeager, Jr., Dalton Kendrick (Angela), Danielle Aughenbaugh, and Dylan Polites, six great-grandchildren; Rory Kendrick, Wyatt and Daryn Polites and Drevyn, Braylyn and Liyane Dotts, and a son-in-law, Scott Polites.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a beloved daughter, Dixie Polites, and ten siblings; Maude, Willard, Thomas, Robert, Albert, Elizabeth, Anna Marie, Josephine, Helen, and Edward.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Saturday. Services will follow, starting at 2:00 PM with Rev. M. Bruce Dimmick officiating. Interment will be held at St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Grampian at a future date.
