Born on September 19, 1934 in Clearfield, he was the son of Joseph C. and Beulah (Rowles) Pry.
He graduated in 1954 from Clearfield Area High School.
Paul served in the United States Army, Company G 47th Infantry Regiment.
On January 23, 1960, in Spring Valley Church, he wed the former Dorothy Wisor.
He retired from Beard Oil Company as a truck driver where he had been employed for over 30 years.
Paul was a lifetime member of Mineral Springs Bible Tabernacle Church, Woodland, PA.
He was a lifetime member of the Lawrence Twp. Volunteer Fire Co #3, Glen Richey, PA, past President for many years and member of the Clearfield Creek Rifle Club, and past President of the Saturday Night Couples Bowling League in Clearfield for over 20 years. Paul was a great leader and example to follow as he was a very humble and patient man.
Paul is survived by three children, Douglas K. Pry of Mineral Springs, PA, Neal L. Pry of West Decatur, PA, and Lisa K. Campbell and her husband Andrew of Warriors Mark, PA; two grandchildren, Halie Parks and her husband, Matthew of Brisbin, PA and Ashlie L. Osselborn and her husband, Rich of Imperial, PA; and four great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Jackson, Matthew, and Keaton.
He is also survived by two brothers, Joseph W. Pry and his wife, Sandra of Mineral Springs, PA and and Samuel Pry and his wife, Delores of Cherry Tree, PA and number of nieces and nephews.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorothy who passed away on April 16, 2023, an infant daughter, daughter-law Drena Aveni Pry, and seven siblings, Bessie Brown, Cleda Royer, Sara Lumadue, Albert Pry, David Pry, Kenneth Pry, and Richard Pry.
Family and friends will be received at The Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 Locust St., Clearfield, PA on Thursday, January 25 from 5-7 p.m. A celebration of life will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Knepp.
Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
