Born on October 29, 1962 in Clearfield, he was the son of Darrel D. and Doris J. (Lumadue) Collins.
He was a graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School, the class of 1980.
On September 17, 1983 he wed the former Patricia Litzinger in the Salem Methodist Church, West Decatur. Together, they had one son, Daniel.
When Norman was 18, he started working for the Johnson Machine Company, Clearfield. He was employed there for 42 years as a machinist. Norman enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by one son, Daniel and his wife, Suzann of Chadds Ford, PA; two granddaughters, Emmeline and Audrey Collins; one brother, Edward R. Collins, Honolulu, Hawaii, one sister, Marcia J. Frantz and her husband, Jon of Bigler, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronald L. Collins, Esq.
Friends will be received at The Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, PA on on Monday, January 9 from 5 – 7 PM, at which time funeral services will begin with Rev. John White officiating. Interment will be in Thompson Cemetery, Lawrence Twp.
