Born on December 30, 1941 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of John I. and Alda (Maines) Steiner.
In her lifetime, Madeline worked for Cuetara-Hile Memorial Center, was a caregiver and homemaker.
Madeline enjoyed reading, working puzzles, and especially enjoyed baking.
She is survived by four sons: Lloyd Bailor and his wife, Teresa of Clearfield, John Bailor of Shiloh, Harold Bailor and his fiancée, Shelia Thomas of Clearfield, and Audie Bailor also of Clearfield and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Madeline is also survived by two brothers and one sister, John Steiner and his wife, Janet of Philipsburg, Karen Held and her husband, Robert of Curwensville and Dennis Steiner and his wife, Joy of Hyde and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John P. Bailor, Sr. who passed on November 15, 2003, two brothers, Carl and Calvin Steiner and four sisters, Evelyn Graffius, Dorothy Keith, Norma Conrad, and Shirley Steiner.
Friends will be received at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services, in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m.
with Pastor John F. White officiating.
Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
