John A. Wise

Born on February 22,1955 in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of Jack D. and Margaret E. (Hull) Wise.

He had worked for Custom Casting for several years.

Even though John did not belong to a church, he believed in God and was a man of faith.

John loved being in the outdoors and working with his hands. He liked to fix things in his own way, even if they didn’t need fixing. John enjoyed living life with as little technology as possible, except for his VCR player and the movies he watched.

He is survived by his daughter, Christine S. Witherow, Clearfield; two sisters, Ann Smeal (Robert), Croft, Clearfield, Jo Hudson (Thomas), Shawville, and one brother, Emery Wise, Clearfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

John is preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, one sister, Dot Martell and her husband, Larry, two brothers, Jim and Bryan Wise, and one niece, Lexie Wise.

At John’s request, there will be no public services.
