John "Jack" McCormack

Born September 7, 1953 in Elizabeth, NJ, the son of Patrick Joseph and Vivian (Ells) McCormack.

John had worked in sales all his life Most recently he had worked for Home Depot and then retired from LOWES of Clearfield.

Mr. McCormack was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church of Clearfield and the Knights of Columbus.

John is survived by his wife, Michele L. (Barger) Solomon-McCormack whom he married April 24, 2004, two stepchildren; Melinda Hanning of Pittsburgh and Michael Solomon and his wife Christina of Miami FL, seven grandchildren, two siblings; Joseph Patrick McCormack (Maria) of New Jersey and Cathy Sparlin-Caldwell of Clearfield, several nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Ian McCormack.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Broski.

A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date.

The family suggests that contributions be made to Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
