Jason L Unch

He was born July 4, 1981 in Clearfield, the son of the late Samuel “Sam” J. Unch II and

Bonnie (Rowles) Maurer and his step-father Christopher of Gaithersburg, MD.

Jason was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School. He received his Electrical Degree from Triangle Tech, DuBois and was currently employed by Canrig in the gas and oil industry.

He was affiliated with the Goshen United Methodist Church and had attended the Community

Baptist Church, Curwensville.

Jason was president of the Iron Bridge Hunting Club, loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed the outdoors.

He is survived by two brothers, Samuel J. Unch III and his wife Nichole of Curwensville, Nathan P.

Unch of Clearfield, a step-sister, Jennifer Peterman and her husband Jason of Rockville, MD,

a niece Allie Unch, a nephew Andrew Larson. He was a father figure to Helaina and Dana

Peteuil. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved pets; Brook and Gray.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents, Lillian and Robert Rowles

and paternal grandparents, Samuel and Edna Unch.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc.

of Clearfield at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Bob Henry officiating. Interment will be in Goshen Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday,December 30, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on

Thursday, from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of services.
