

She was born in Curwensville, the daughter of Steve and Theresa (Cyprich) Padisak.
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker. She was an avid gardener, loved her flowers and feeding the birds and squirrels.
She was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Clearfield.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by two children; Susan Kester and her husband Bruce of Greensburg and Dean Thompson of Clearfield, four grandchildren; David, Christopher and Michael Kester and his wife, Michelle and Paul A. Thompson, two great-granddaughters; Macey and Mila Kester, three sisters and a brother; Catherine M. Hess and Josephine Hoover of Clearfield, John Padisak of Curwensville and Stephanie Krucelyak and her husband Steve of Punxsutawney, a brother-in-law, Barney Frantz of Youngstown, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph T. Thompson whom she married April of 1953 and who passed away June 19, 2002, four sisters; Verna Sutika, Anne Hammer, Mary Primavera and Tressa Frantz and a brother, Andrew Padisak.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church with Father Brandon Kleckner as celebrant. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., of Clearfield on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M. with a vigil service at 4:45 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9 to 9:30 A.M.
The family would like thank the Clearfield Penn Highland Hospice nurses and aides for their kindness and understanding during this time.
