He was born April 18, 1953 in Clearfield, the son of Helen L. (Fleming) Buck.
Ed was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.
Mr. Fleming had worked for Piper Aircraft and then at Powdered Metals as a dye setter for 33 years, retiring in 2018.
He was a member of the Clearfield Alliance Church.
Mr. Fleming was also a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Ed is survived by his wife, Ellen M. (Knepp) Fleming whom he married May 11, 1974, six children; Nicole Heichel and her husband Jody, Edward E. Fleming, Jr., William E. Fleming, Patricia A. Greene and her husband Ryan, Gracelyn Essence Fleming and Charles Calibur Fleming, thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two siblings; Thelma Goodrow and Kathy Swoope and her husband Roger and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, his step-father, Perry Buck, his grandmother, Edith Fleming, a grandson, Matthew Fleming and two brothers; Robert and William Buck.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Duane White officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until the hour of services.
