Beverly A. Palmer

Mrs. Palmer was born April 17, 1928 at Clearfield, the daughter of Irven C. and Clara H. (Schiefer) Kester.

She was formerly employed by the Bell Telephone Company.

Mrs. Palmer was a member of the West Side United Methodist Church of Clearfield.

She was also a member of the N.O.N. Club and Coterie Club and was an avid bridge and pinochle player.

Family was most important to Beverly. She is survived by two daughters; Janet Lovesky and her husband John and JoAnn Holobinko and her husband George all of Clearfield, four grandchildren; Sarah Ann Lovesky and her fiancé Justin Montanti, Matthew Scott Lovesky and his fiancée Chrissy Natalie, Justin Wade Cline and his wife Melinda and Aaron Matthew Cline and his wife Emily, two great grandchildren; Madeleine and Parker and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William F. Palmer whom she married June 11, 1948 and who passed away December 3, 1993,three brothers; Richard, Robert and William Kester, and three sisters; Mary Hile, Betty Jane Muirhead and Helen Moyer.

Funeral services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., of Clearfield on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dr. Joleen A. Willis officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9PM and on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to West Side United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or Music Fund, 317 Nichols Street, Clearfield, PA 16830
