

She was born March 11, 1931 in Curwensville, the daughter of Harold and Agnes (Morrison) Shubert.
Bernetta had worked as a nurse aide and in the office of the medical records at the Clearfield Hospital retiring after 35 years.
She was Methodist by faith.
Bernetta enjoyed square dancing, motorcycling and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie I. Lauver, of Clearfield whom she married December 19, 1953 and a son; Gary Lauver and his wife, Carol of Clearfield, one granddaughter, Crystal Provencher and her husband, Michael of Fort Hood, Texas, one great granddaughter, Madeleine Provencher, one sister and two brothers; Shirley Young and her husband, Zane, of Battleground, Indiana, Andy Shubert and his wife, Dottie of Rochester, New York, Glenn Shubert and his wife, Leah of New Palestine, Indiana, two sister-in-laws; Jean Graham and her husband, Harold of Woodland, Cheryl Leigey and her husband, Jeff of Allport, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bernetta was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jean Young.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield with Rev. John F. White officiating. Interment will be at Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of the services.
