She was born on July 29, 1924 in Goshen the daughter of the late T. Lee Taylor and Jessie R. (Shomo) Taylor.
Althea retired from Clearfield Furs.
She was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church, Goshen Ladies Aide, a past member of the Goshen Grange #623 and St. Francis Catholic Daughters of America.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, scrabble and crossword puzzles.
Althea is survived by her four children: Richard J. Beauseigneur and his fiancé Barbara Cutler of Glen Richey, Susan M. Krause and her husband Clyde of Houtzdale, Gail Grecco and her husband Gary of Fisher and David W. Beauseigneur and his wife Patricia of Addison,NY; a daughter in law, Nancy Beauseigneur of Curwensville, three step children: Eleanor Kline and her husband Walt of Olanta, Ferdin E. Wallace Jr and his wife Sherry of Clearfield and Alice Mahute and her husband John of Houtzdale; 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; five siblings: Mary Liddle , Arvena Lauver, John W. Taylor, Lola Farzanrad and Roberta Pacheco.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Harold J. Beauseigneur in 1969, second husband Ferdin E. Wallace Sr. in 1998, a son, Francis L. Beauseigneur, a granddaughter, Kathryn Young, five siblings: Patricia Martell, Joyce Dixon, G. Elry Taylor, Robert Taylor, and Thomas Taylor.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev Robert Henry officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 4-8pm on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the funeral home. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Monday from 10am until the hour of services.
