A memorial service to celebrate Trent’s life will be held at a later date.
He was born on the Air Force base in Altus, Oklahoma on November 28, 1962 to Jean Berven Bateman and the late Richard “Dick” Bateman. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Boyd & Ruth Berven and Jack & Violette Bateman, both of Webster City, Iowa and Richard & Wilma Isham of Independence, Iowa.
Trent was a 10-year Veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed his time as Crew Chief transporting dignitaries around the world while visiting over 60 countries. He was currently employed with Grainger as a Technical Support Specialist.
Trent was a life-long sports fan. He especially loved “his” Denver Broncos. He hosted Friday family porch nights and enjoyed pool league with friends. However, his greatest joy was his family. He was “Unkie” extraordinaire to Andrew, Abbie, Alexander and Aaron Haberkorn.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Richard Haberkorn, and aforementioned niece and nephews.
