THOMAS MICHAEL BERG September 28, 1953 – November 1, 2014 CLAYTON, NC – Thomas Michael Berg, age 61, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Mele; five children, Thomas Berg, Kyle Berg, Ryan Berg, Shannon Murdock (Mark), and Michael O’Leary (Jessica); four grandsons; a sister, Pattie Rotanz; and one brother Jimmy Berg (Anna). The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 prior to the prayer service at the funeral home.
