She also enjoyed the summers of her youth at her family’s Pfafflin Lake.
Sherry's greatest passions were her beloved pets and family. She enjoyed reading, staying informed on politics and current events, and Hallmark movies. She loved sharing lunch and playing cards with her good friend, Shirley Chaney. Every evening, she ended her day with fervent prayers for her family to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Sherry was a fiercely independent and patriotic American. She loved her country deeply. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She enjoyed trips to the beach and traveling to Branson, MO to listen to her favorite country music performers. She found relaxation on her screened porch, enjoying nature, watching her dog chase squirrels, radio programs, and music. She also enjoyed long phone calls with family and FaceTime sessions with her youngest grandchildren in Nevada. Sherry delighted in creating her famous Christmas cookie care packages for her friends and family.
