Sharon Carroll Lee, age 55, of Selma, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Sharon was born in Johnston County on February 22, 1969. She earned a certification as a certified nursing assistant, and in progress of pursuing a business administration degree.
She is survived by her sons, Chris Whitley of Raleigh and AJ Crocker of Goldsboro; daughters, Samantha Godwin of Dunn, Grace Lee of Goldsboro, Jessica Gutierrez of Dunn, Abby Lee of Goldsboro and Hannah Lee of Goldsboro; five grandchildren; her mother, Polly Pauline Whitley; brother, David Carroll; sisters, Debbie Godwin, and Belinda Hicks. Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Alton Whitley, a brother, Mark Carroll, and one sister, Kathy Johnson.
A visitation for Sharon will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McLaurin Funeral Home, Clayton, NC. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel, Clayton, NC. An interment will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton, NC.
