Selmadene King Tart

Selmadene King Tart, 85, daughter of the late James H. and Gladys Starling King, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Hocutt Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Rudolph (Bobby) Tart; daughter, Debbie Carlyle of Clayton; son, David Tart and wife Joanne of Eldersburg, MD; grandchildren, Joshua Holliday, Tyler Denning, David Tart, II and Sara Tart; great grandchildren, Lyla Holliday and Corrine Holliday. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Price; brothers, Virgil King, Victor O. King, Ronald King and Tracy King.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of ones choice.
