Rena Creech Pittman Williams the daughter of the late Redin and Harriett Creech passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at the age of 96. She was born December 17, 1919 in Johnston County and enjoyed gardening, playing cards, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11:00am in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Steve Roy officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at McLaurin Funeral Home.
She is survived by a son, Harry Pittman and wife, Jean of Clayton; daughters, Bonnie Bryant of Selma, Sandra Townsend and husband, Joe of Clayton, Lynn Wood and husband, Neil of Radford, VA, a sister, Suveter Earp of Clayton; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Williams and a son-in-law, Cecil Bryant.
