Phyllis Lucille Jones, a loving wife, mother and grandma passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the age of 92. Mrs. Jones was born in Sod, WV on June 4, 1930 to the late Dell and Alice Neal Watts. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, James R. Jones and a sister, Dorris McClure.
She leaves behind son, James “Brent” Jones and his wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Ryan Shafer and Rebecca Mauney and her husband, John Mauny. Numerous nieces, family, friends.
She was a devout Christian and member of The Church of Christ. It was her dedication and belief in God that made all possible. Mom lived life seeing the good in people.
She was loved by so many and will be missed by all. For 60 years she was my biggest supporter and rock to lean on. Mom I will love you always. So privileged and proud to call you mom.
