Patricia Ann Powell

On Sunday, December 26, 2021 Patricia McDonald Powell moved from this world peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Pat spent many of her early years in retail. Later in life she found new opportunities with Farm Bureau that she loved. She made many friends along her life journey. She had a big heart and a great love for people and welcomed all into her life, as if they were family including co-workers and the many friends and acquaintances that knew her through her children and grandchildren.

Pat was born on March 26, 1952, the daughter of the Late Neil and Shirley Wall McDonald. She was the oldest of five girls and she played a big part in raising each of them.

Pat is survived by her two girls Jenifer Powell and Jill Powell Moreland of Garner, NC, the Father of her girls ex-husband Robert Powell, two Grand kids that were the love of her life, Greyson and Analee. She is survived by three sisters, Carol McLawhorn, (Paul), Jane Lee (Johnny), and Sherry McDonald, all of Garner, NC, many nieces and nephews, Tony Lee (Stefanie), Angel Lee (Rudy), Jeff McLawhorn (Stephanie), Jeremy McLawhorn (Veronica), Josh McLawhorn (Anne). Also many Great neices and nephews. A family friend Susan Mote, many cousins that she loved dearly and called often. She was preceded in death by her parents Neil and Shirley Wall McDonald, her sister Sue McDonald and a very special cousin Peggy Wall Peedin.

She was a wonderful mom to her two girls and was very proud of them. Her world was made more beautiful after the birth of her Grandchildren. Being with them everyday made her day. Pat will be in all of our hearts forever. We will see her again on the other side.
