A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton, North Carolina, with Pastor David Sutphin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2024, at McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton, North Carolina.
She was born in Johnson County, on December 15, 1939, to the late Thurman Floyd Langley and the late Bessie Irene Adams Langley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Johnson in July of 2022.
She is survived by her two children, Craig Johnson and his husband, Shawn Long, and Cristal Johnson Nowell and her husband, Will Nowell. ; grandchildren, Hudson Nowell, Isaiah Johnson-Long, and Alexandra Nowell; great grandchildren, Thalia Johnson-Long; and brothers and sisters, Thelbert Langley, Jackie Byrd, Walter Langley, and Linda Proctor.
