Rev. Michael Randolph Tart

Rev. Michael Randolph “Mike” Tart, 57, pastor of Smithfield Advent Christian Church was born on February 28, 1960 and passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Mike was also employed with NC Department of Public Safety as a Purchasing Manager. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday

July 10, 2017 at Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church with Rev. Bob Copeland and Rev. Steve Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton.

He is survived by his wife; Teresa Norris Tart, sons; Dustin Tart and Chad Tart, his parents; Randolph and Pat Tart, brother: Greg Tart and his wife Krystal, father-in-law; Bill Norris, sister-in-law; Vicky Green and her husband Brian, nieces; Elizabeth Tart, Isabelle Tart and Taylor Grace Green, nephew; Payton Green. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law; Ernestine Norris.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to his caregivers at Duke-Raleigh 4th floor, the doctors, nurses and staff & ICU unit, Duke Medical Pavilion, 7700 CICU, Duke 8E NEURO ICU and their doctors, nurses and staff for all of their care, prayers, love and support extended to the Tart family.
