Mary Stephenson Moser Holmes, age 87, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Mary was born on July 27, 1935 in Johnston County to the late Hunter and Allie Kirks Stephenson. She is a retired employee of Atlantic Tobacco Company.
A funeral service for Mrs. Holmes will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 2:00pm at McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Holmes will be buried at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Brent Moser; a son, Michael Moser; her second husband, Wade Holmes; four sisters and three brothers. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
