Marianne also leaves behind her stepchildren, Ben Merrill Jr., Dan Merrill, and Jenny Williams, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Kellie Robertson, Connor Dobson, Hannah Dobson Christovich, Sean Dobson, Boone Williams, Jossie Williams, Trey Merrill, and Logan Merrill. Marianne was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Avick.
Professionally, Marianne was the co-founder of Rockin' Comet Diner, where she made a significant impact in the community with her culinary expertise and warm personality.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Marianne will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at McLaurin Funeral Home & Pinecrest Memorial Park, 12830 Us 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, North Carolina 27520. McLaurin Funeral Home is honored to be assisting Marianne's family in arrangements.
